Coimbatore: The CCMC Commissioner and Special Officer, Sravan Kumar Jatavath assured the public in the city that uniform drinking water supply is being provided to all the wards under Coimbatore Corporation.
Coimbatore: The CCMC Commissioner and Special Officer, Sravan Kumar Jatavath assured the public in the city that uniform drinking water supply is being provided to all the wards under Coimbatore Corporation.
"Areas under Coimbatore Corporation require 265.70 M.L.T of drinking water per day. Steps are being taken to ensure drinking water is supplied uniformly to all the wards belonging to the Coimbatore Corporation.
Moreover, in areas where pipes are being removed for fixing new ones or for road repair purpose, drinking water is supplied with the help of water lorries. To monitor the water supply, a supervisor is being appointed for every ward in the area, and the reports will be sent to the Corporation Commissioner's office immediately and the Executive Engineers will take necessary measures," noted the CCMC Commissioner.
